They have been reported by multiple carriers for non-payment of freight bills. Often these double broker scams won’t even have a carrier side, just insurance on a truck sitting in junkyard, etc. Then they get the load from a more legitimate brokerage that usually offers them quickpay. In turn, you deliver the load, send your docs back to the scam broker, who then in turn uses that paperwork to get their carrier side paid fast. They might do 2-10 loads a day, be in business for 45 days or so, close and do it again. Often just opening a bunch of virtual offices and bouncing from one to the other.
